Album of the Month:

MGMT - Little Dark Age (Columbia) - Released February 9th, 2018

 MGMT is back. Little Dark Age is their fourth album and first release in nearly five years. This record takes a detour from MGMT's original sound, touching on melodies and instrumentals that are reminiscent of the 80's goth scene, soft rock, and straight forward alt-pop. Although the direction is slightly different, MGMT finds a way to fit their strange charm and catchy pop hooks into a solid set of songs. As mentioned in my review, it may not be the best MGMT full-length, but it definitely includes some of MGMT's best material to date.
