Album of the Month:
Big Sean - I Decided. (GOOD Music, Inc./Def Jam Recordings)
Extremely pleased with this Big Sean release right here. Right out of the gate this album comes at the listener with 5 solid songs that do not disappoint. "Bounce Back" and "Moves" are 2 great singles, very concise and concentrated bangers. "No Favors (Feat. Eminem)" has such an interesting melody but the chemistry between Sean and Eminem is just really awkward and doesn't work, in my opinion, still a solid song though. "Jump Out the Window" and "Sunday Morning Jetpack (Feat. The-Dream)" are two songs having to deal with relationships within his life that I believe Sean captured really well, both songs channeling his inner thoughts and evoking emotion from the listener. The closer, "Bigger Than Me (Feat. The Flint Chozen Choir & Starrah)" is one of my favorites on the album because of the features on this record. The choir vocals throughout and Starrah's mini-verse really leave the listener eager for more Sean Don and excited for what's in the future. Big Sean delivers a satisfying full-length album full of party bangers, stories of reflection and relationships. Listen below...
